Whenever I begin research for a new web design project one of the first things I do is look for inspiration – and Pinterest is the place I head to first! If you’ve never heard of Pinterest then I  suggest you head on over and have a look here. It is essentially an online notice board where you can pin all sorts of fabulous photos that you find on the web. Like Facebook and Twitter other Pinners (as they are called) can follow you and can repin your photos as well as comment.

The official description from the website is:

“Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.”

Ways you can use Pinterest for inspiration include decorating your home, planning a wedding, finding a whole new wardrobe or outfit or collect recipes. The site is invite only but if you would like one then all you have to do is request it and you will be invited.
